This was a great project to work on, we built all the jQuery and interface elements custom for this site (no plugins). Very fun making sure everything about this site was top-notch, starting with performance.

City Allergy – New York, NY

City Allergy was a fun project for me, it was the first time I didn't have to do all the work myself. I had a very talented developer who converted my mockups and prototypes into WordPress. The design currently looks a little different than intended but I think it holds up pretty well.

I decided to go with a blue / steel & khaki color scheme for this because I felt it melded well with the silver in the logo (also designed the logo) and it gave the site an overall "doctor" feel and the cleanliness I was hoping for. It was originally green but I think this look much nicer.

As always I used semantic markup, pristine CSS ;-) and jQuery where needed. It was a very fun, but quick, project and I'm happy to call this one my own.

USC Reader is a personal favorite project of mine. The main purpose was to gather all the RSS feeds from USC and put them in one place. While we had them, we decided to add some fun to the project by building a USC RSS reader. Users can come here, select their news sources, submit, and the reader app will combine all the feeds into one, easy to read format.

Some other bits of functionality I added to this project are: the ability to preview a feed, add it to your own reader, and export in OPML format.

I forget exactly where the idea for FatFold.com came from, but I do know it's hours of entertainment. It's a site where people can come to complain about stuff anonymously. A hit in the small community it's reached so far.

This is my personal blog of rants, list, and pretty much anything that comes into my head. You'll see a lot of randomness in this site; it's a great place to get to know my personality.

I also love this site because it's my canvas to try out new things in design & development. Before OkayTim came along I would use CSSKarma to test out new design elements and features, and it would tend to weird–out the users. I'm glad I have a site where I can just place around and be creative.
